The color is emerald green with a glossy finish. The shape has a uniform color. The artifact offers a delicate external finish that hints at the tonal trend of the white internal molding.
The artifact follows rigorous orthogonal lines, softened by a white internal molding.
The tones were made with acrylics while the finish with water-based paint.
The technique used is the «Grattage» which consists in “scratching” with various tools the still fresh painting spread on the canvas or other material.
The scratches created bring out the colors of the underlying pictorial layers and give life to chromatic and chiaroscuro contrasts.
Inside a shaped mirror was used, handcrafted cut, with classical glassware tools.
Maestro Gargiulo Antonio was inspired by some of the architecture of Positano, a native of the Amalfi Coast, creating this mixed square form of art, craftsmanship, architecture and ancient references.
